Mumbai: IPL 2010 Latest Update: Semi-Final matches shifted to Mumbai: The Semi-Final matches, which were scheduled at Bangalore’s M. Chennaswamy stadium, now would be played here DYP stadium.
According to the reports, the semi-final matches have been moved to the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai due to security concerns at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
This news was confirmed by the IPL Commissioner Mr. Lalit Modi. Modi, who is in Dubai regarding ICC meeting has said that the 2 matches have been moved to Mumbai now.
At least 10 persons were injured in 2 bomb blasts outside the Chennaswamy stadium on Saturday, just before the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.
